Passive Income Business Opportunity – Limited Time Offer

22 October, 2009 (09:48) | Passive Income, Passive Income Challenge | By: Dusty

If you have been reading CTB for long you will know that creating passive income is my passion. You will also know that, while writing articles is typically very easy for me, developing professional looking sales pages is my weakness. I can get people to my sites with no problem, I just cannot create those eye-popping sites that rake in the sales.

The problem with trying to make money online is that you either have to create your own products or learn how to be a really good affiliate. Product creation takes too much time, since I basically have 2 hours a week to get stuff done online. And to be honest with you, I am not really that good of an affiliate (or at least my sales indicate that I am not). Fortunately for me, I found a product today that takes care of both these issues for me. It creates products for me AND creates professional looking websites with a push of a button…No really. It is that easy.

Please, do yourself a favor and go check this out. Once this site gets 100 members it will move from a low one time payment of $37, to a monthly subscription of $17. It is not hard to do the math, is it? How do I know it is going that the membership will reach 100 quickly….Brian Zimmerman, creator of The Newbie Notebook, just blasted this to his lists, and in case you do not know, that dude is awesome.

Here is the link to check out the product – Easy Button Business. I just bought this, so tonight I will create my first site and publish a review for you guys in the next few days!

Passive Income Report: September 2009

1 October, 2009 (17:08) | Passive Income, Passive Income Challenge | By: Dusty

October is going to be a great month as far as my passive income earnings are concerned. I am going to absolutely kill it!

I spent the better part of last night outlining my plan, fine tuning my sites, and securing a few additional domain names. The goal is to pump out as much content as I possibly can, without sacrificing the quality of the content I produce. What I really need to do is take a few hours and train my Dragon to recognize my mumbling! Seriously, that program is cool.

Regardless, I did manage to create 7 new articles for eHow (all within the last couple of days of the month), 40 articles on ezinearticles and around 10 posts on various niche blogs that I have set up. What I plan on doing differently in October is to simply focus on 3 niches, and not the 20 that I thought would be good, and create 3 to 5 articles per niche every other day. It is a ton easier since I purchased Micro Niche Finder. That piece of software really helps find ‘buying’ keywords and saves me a ton of time.

So! How were the numbers?

Affiliate Sales: $176 – I did OK this month with regards to affiliate marketing. I only spent 4 hours working on these campaigns so I feel like I did well. The 40 articles I wrote for EZA were all promoting new CPA campaigns, which have not produced a single sale….YET. I hear they convert better than clickbank or paydotcom but I have not had that experience so far.

eHow: $75 – Pretty decent numbers since I only added 7 new articles and did no article promotion. I hope to write one article a day on eHow and see if I can get my earnings over the $100 mark in October!

Amazon: $136 – Yeah baby. Every now and then I hit a few good sales. Someone clicked on a link for a book and ending up buying a fire proof safe, netting me a cool $100. You never can tell, can you?

Swagbucks: $25 - This site still makes me money month in and month out. I love it!

CPC: $2 – I suck at Sniper sites. I just cannot figure them out. I will though. It will just take some more effort!

Total Passive Income Earnings – $412

While $412 is not much to speak of, it is 82% of my goal for December 2009. I honestly believe that I will reach my goal of $500 in October. So much so, that I have challenged my brother to a little online competition. He actually thinks this stuff is easy…that makes me laugh! He is smart though, so he may be able to figure it out! You can check out his little blog at Almost Passive Income.

For 31 days, starting today, we are going to see who can generate more NEW income. By new, it means that everything must be created, started and earned in October. This is fair since I have a few One Week Marketing campaigns that drop a few sales each month into my bank account! Almost any form of passive income can be used. Things like yard sales and eBay do not count, as that would make it way to easy on him. He has more junk that I do!

How did you do in September? Are you still working towards your goals?

Earn Quick Money? My Passive Income Experience

15 September, 2009 (21:28) | Passive Income, Passive Income Challenge | By: Dusty

Can you earn quick money online?

Almost every time I visit one of those IM forums I see this question being asked over and over and over. I had to laugh when I saw a question that basically said he needed to make $1,000 by the end of this week and had no prior online marketing experience. Even worse, this same type of question has been popping up on the eHow forums lately. I wonder why people have the misguided perception that making money online is easy.

I knew when I got started that it was going to be a long, tough road. I honestly did not expect to be make even one dollar online. Fortunately for me, I began by writing articles on eHow, which has provided a nice, steady source of income. This turned out to be a great place to begin and has taught me a ton about things I never knew existed; SEO, affiliate marketing, etc.

After spending a few months of learning, I began to slowly branch into other areas. The first thing I did was buy One Week Marketing. I absolutely love this resource. In fact, 80% of what I do now is loosely based on the techniques I learned by reading, and acting, on Jennifer’s instructions.

As a side note, while watching football on Sunday I started a new OWM campaign. I only had time to write one article for Ezinearticles, which went live this morning. The very first person to click through actually bought the product. How cool is that?

You should not let the $47 price tag scare you. In my honest opinion it was worth every penny. There are other cheaper alternatives however. The best I have seen is 4 Day Profits. This dude is awesome and teaches you how to make a decent amount of money online for only $29. In fact, just by watching one of his FREE videos, I learned a new technique to find profitable niches.

What many people fail to recognize is that I can only manage to carve out about 2 hours a week to work on my online empire. Each month I have aspirations of working a ton, but then life, and/or work, gets in the way and I end up falling way short of my goals. Nevertheless, I push on, and so should you.

How Much Money Have I Earned?

So often when you come across a blog that talks about making money with a certain technique, the reader is left wondering just how much money that person actually made with that product. As such, I have added up my stats, as follows:

One Week Marketing Campaigns
Date Purchased: 4-18-09
Sales - 22
Returns - 0
Total Revenue - $750 (rounded to nearest dollar)
Out of Pocket Expense - $47 (to buy One Week Marketing)

As you can see, I am making about $150 per month exclusively fromĀ  OWM campaigns. I make a tad more than that through other sites such as eHow, PPC advertising and article marketing (which is so much fun). I am slowly working my way up towards my goal of $500 per month by 12/31/09. Now that I have learned to really tap into the power of MicroNicheFinder I honestly expect my OWM campaigns and article marketing revenue to grow substantially.

Earn quick money? No!

Earn decent money? Yes!

How is your online empire developing? What did you get accomplished tonight?
