If you have a savings account, then you more than likely are collecting less than one percent interest every quarter on your savings. Any type of bank account allows that bank to use your money until you withdraw it and give you a small percentage of it, interest, in return. You can open a money market account, purchase savings bonds or certificates of deposits and get a higher APY than a typical savings or checking account.
Online Marketing
In this case, online marketing refers to affiliate marketing. Creating and setting up any type of marketing plan is tedious but the payoff can be grand. Simply refer others to a product and receive a commission. If you have a website, then affiliate marketing can be one of your biggest income boosters if you have a steady flow of visitors.
Do not be fooled into thinking that a passive income means not having to do any work at all. Most of the effort is put forth in the initial phases of creating wealth. A great deal of time, money or effort is usually needed for any type of passive income. However, once the investment is made, you are on the road to financial security.

It seems that everyone you meet has a few domains that they registered and then just let them sit around doing nothing but collecting dust. I’m as guilty of that as the next person, but I have several hundred, not just several. A while back I was wondering how to make money from them and started doing some experiments to see what the best method was in learning how to make money with parked domains. Here are a few techniques that I tried and the results.
The first thing I did was sign up about 10 domains under Google’s Adsense for Domains. Basically once you have some sites signed up, a generic ad page with Google ad pops up anytime the page is typed into a browser bar. This paid a few cents per click and over about a month I made about 2 bucks off those domains. Not getting rich very quick!
So the next method I tried was using a domain parking service. I moved a group of parked domains over to one service that was very popular among Internet Marketers. I left the domains there for a few months and again, I only made a dollar or two. Not very encouraging! I realize I wasn’t making anything off of them just sitting around and collecting dust, but you’d think that if you went to the trouble of forwarding the DNS’s!
The final method I tried was putting a bunch of the domains on one of my hosting accounts and building mini sites from them. I built the sites around the niches that the domains described and then used affiliate links . Obviously some affiliate links paid more than others depending on the niches. After a few months, I made about $40 on 12 domains. Not bad for a little work. And what’s best is that these pages just sit there and get type in traffic! I don’t have to build links to them or any other type of promotion!
I know there are other methods one can use to make money with parked domains, but these three were the easiest and the last method paid me the most but will require a little more up front effort in the future!
