I’ve got a bunch of stuff in my basement from old hobbies, collections, etc. that i could (and should) sell on Ebay or Craigslist. Thanks for the reminder, this is a great idea for uncluttering.

I think this is a great idea. I could probably find 40 – 50 things in my garage that I never use and need to get rid of. I would like to comment on not using credit cards to pay for things. While I understand your point and believe most people should do this who are not responsible spenders – I think that some people can benefit from using credit whenever possible. My wife and I bring in around $300 – $400 every year in cash back rewards cards. We still have a weekly budgeted limit of what we spend and always pay the card off every month.
